The profit target is a percentage of the funded size that your equity has to pass; in multi-phase plans each phase's percentage adds to the ones before it to make the total goal. The comparison is strict: landing exactly on the number is not clearing it.
More importantly, reaching the target is necessary but not sufficient — passing requires the target and MGD together. The next video is about MGD.
